… and 200 Squats! Crazy insane, or crazy awesome? Guess which one I think it is?
Remember last time I talked about doing a program called 100 push ups? I had good intentions, but I didn’t keep it up.
Now I work at a desk, which means my pants are rapidly tightening – eek! I’m in need of a workout program – STAT! I generally thrive on a structured schedule (exhibit A: marathon training). Nothing really gets me going like being able to check things off on a list… or give myself gold stars… shut up, you know you want gold stars too :P
So, I went to the website again in search of the grand training schedule to do the elusive 100 push ups, and what did I find? Not only do they have programs for the push ups, but now they have programs for 200 sit ups (crunches, so as not to kill one’s spine) and 200 squats! Perhaps it’s the masochist in me that cried out in joy upon the discovery.
Of course I had to take the initial tests right away.
Jenny’s amazing self can do (in good form, all at once):
30 sit ups – Ow
10 pushups – Oof
50 squats – Hot mama she’s got leg strength!
Plan commences tomorrow at 0900 hours and shall continue Mon, Wed, Fri for 6 weeks. Wish me luck!
